List of things to do today.

1. Keep an eye on Mopsy to ensure that she does not chew on shoes, door frames, legs of chairs, or Miles.
2. Plant lots of pretty blue flowers in our front garden plot.
3. Walk Miles and Mopsy this afternoon, which will consist of searching for shady patches where they can rest and pant their little hearts out because it's going to be hot today.
4. Call the plumber, the fence guy, and the handyman.
5. Read as much as possible of The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, a charming epistolary novel set in post-war Britain.
6. Try to think of a title. Yes. That is still going on.
7. Gear up for diving back into revisions on my science fiction novel that I'm working on. Title for now is CHILDREN OF THE NEW HOPE, but any reader of my blog will know that titles are an iffy thing.
8. Laundry. Ever-present Laundry.
9. Weeds in back garden. Always weeds.
10. Going to bed early because just writing this list has made me tired.
